Gallery @ Lightwriters
(Im)perceptible is a play on the word imperceptible which refers to something that is impossible or difficult to notice. Placing the “Im” portion of the word in parentheses changes the context of the word from remaining invisible to instead say “I’m perceptible” or rather “I am visible” while still remaining subtle.
Similarly to the first rendition of (Im)perceptible: the Queer and Now the work in this show focuses on highlighting queer artists and the works which reflect their identity. (Im)perceptible the remix features new works from artists featured in the Queer and Now, but also work from new artists exclusive to the remix to better highlight the depths of queerdom.
